Assistant Resident Representative, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)
Yeshey Dorji is the Assistant Resident Representative of UNFPA Bhutan Country Office. Mr. Yeshey joined UNFPA in October 2004 and oversees UNFPA programme and operations in Bhutan in close collaboration with the Royal Government. Prior to his assignment with UNFPA, he served as a civil servant with National Statistical Bureau as Chief Statistical Officer. He holds a Masters Degree in Population Sciences from International Institute of Population Science, Mumbai, India and a Bachelor of Science from Sherubtse College, Kanglung, Royal University of Bhutan. He is married with three children.
